Freshwater Scientist Advisor
Hamilton, Wellington or Christchurch

We are seeking a highly motivated person to lead and develop a freshwater research programme that will contribute to achieving a ‘dramatic change and improvement in freshwater conservation’ and who complements the freshwater team

You will be passionate about freshwater conservation and will both carry out and commission scientific research across a range of freshwater issues.  You will thrive on translating scientific knowledge into practical management actions and on identifying information gaps to be filled. You will engage and communicate effectively with others in order to achieve freshwater conservation objectives..  You will have a postgraduate qualification in freshwater conservation, proven research and project management experience, strong statistical and data analysis skills and excellent written and oral communication skills. You will exhibit leadership in freshwater research with a high level of awareness of the opportunities for making significant conservation gains.
