We are seeking two highly motivated people to provide technical advice and support that will contribute to achieving a ‘dramatic change and improvement in freshwater conservation’ with skills that complement those of the existing team.

You will be passionate about freshwater conservation and will provide specialist advice across a range of freshwater conservation issues.  You will enjoy translating scientific knowledge into practical management actions and will thrive on engaging and communicating effectively with Department staff and a range of stakeholders in order to achieve freshwater conservation objectives.  Ideally, you will have a postgraduate qualification in freshwater conservation, proven project management experience, strong statistical and data analysis skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.  Experience working with tangata whenua will be an advantage.
